-A memorial service held in Navarre, FL with a Road Rally/Caravan down historic scenic Highway 98 to Crawfordville and the home of the GK Restorations Shop (a 6 hour drive along the beautiful gulf coast with a lunch stop in Seaside FL) - a 3 hour drive along I-10 is also an option. You may fly in to the Pensacola Airport and fly out of the Tallahassee Airport if you do not wish to bring your car to this event.
Note: Porsche made vehicles are not a requirement to participate in the drive from Navarre to
Crawfordville - this is a very informal drive through the Gulf Coast.
Sunday April 25 The Main Event...fly into Tallahassee Airport
-An open house with: Concours, tech quizzes, door prizes, tour of the GK Restorations Shop, preview of auction items with early sealed bids accepted, BBQ lunch on site available for purchase at less than $10.00 per plate - live music all day, tiki bar, bonfire at night - videos and slide shows of Gary and old Porsche factory videos on large screen outdoors - Porsche art (Some pieces given out as prizes.)
- approx. 4 pm - 6 pm on Sunday an auction of some of Gary's 'excessive collectibles' :-)
all kinds of items auctioned: Porsche Literature, toys, vintage guitars, clocks and radios,
some parts, some cars - list to follow .
You can drive in to any of these events, or fly into the Pensacola, Fort Walton Beach, or Panama City Airport, or the Tallahassee Airport if you do not wish to take part in the Memorial Service and Road Rally.
